My story is a Fairy Tale. I think that it is this because it has magical objects, not creatures. But this still classifies it is a Fairy Tale, the things that are magical objects are her ring, the puppy and twelve o`clock. Another reason why this is a Fairytale because they main chararcters live happily ever after with eachother. This story is also a serious type story and one kids can learn from.
My folktale crosses into the Mexican Culture. Because of the location of the story, the chracter names, the big festival at the end when the puppy turns into a Prince/ Perfect Boyfriend. Also because they are speaking Spanish in some of the story to more enhance they Mexican Culture. My culture is more of a Mexican-American Type culture because they speak both languages and live in the United States. The importance of identifiying the type of folk tale so the reader will unerstand the type of story the are reading, also so your story can make sence and not jump from creatures to mishaps all in one sence without making yoursekf clear. The type of message my story is trying to tell is that, do not judge a book by it's cover. Also love can be found anywhere.
